Journal of Statistics and Information adheres to recognized publishing ethics, upholds academic integrity, and firmly opposes any form of plagiarism. This journal strictly implements the peer review and "three review" system, which includes initial review by the editorial department, editorial review, anonymous external review by experts, and final review by the editorial board, in order to ensure and improve the quality of the paper. This ethical statement is based on the guidelines and standards developed and published by the Publishing Ethics Committee (COPE).
Authors who submit to this journal must confirm the originality of the content of their manuscript, and also ensure that their manuscript has not been fully or partially published in any language elsewhere, nor has it been reviewed elsewhere for publication purposes.
The editors, authors, reviewers, and editorial board members of this journal should fulfill the following responsibilities and also comply with other relevant regulations and requirements of this journal.
Author's Responsibility:
1. The original research should be honestly described, without plagiarism or falsification of data, and multiple submissions are not allowed.
2. The content of the manuscript should comply with the scope of this journal's solicitation, and can be subject to peer review. If necessary, original data or source code must be provided.
3. All authors should be individuals who have made sufficient contributions to the research, agree to sign the Copyright Transfer Agreement, and agree to include their papers and data in appropriate databases.
4. It is necessary to appropriately cite published literature with permission, and there is an obligation to provide literature related to the manuscript. If the research receives funding, the full name of the fund must be listed.
5. Ensure that any research involving humans and animals complies with national, local, and institutional ethical requirements.
6. Specific reviewers can be recommended or requested to be avoided during submission.
7. The submission format should comply with the format requirements in the submission guidelines of this publication, using Word formatting.
8. If errors are found in published papers, the editorial department should be notified in a timely manner to cooperate with the editorial department in publishing corrections or withdrawing the paper.
Editor's responsibility:
1. Review the manuscripts, and send the approved manuscripts to the reviewers in the relevant research direction for anonymous review through the publishing and editing system; Submit the manuscript and the review comments of the reviewers to the editorial board, and request the editorial board to provide suggestions on how to handle the manuscript: publish, publish after modification, review after modification, or reject.
2. During the review process, reviewers with relevant interests should be avoided, and designated reviewers should be avoided according to the author's reasonable requirements.
3. The editorial department has the right to independently make decisions on acceptance or rejection, but cannot be based on the private opinion. Decisions that have already been made cannot be changed unless serious errors or academic misconduct are discovered.
4. We treat special issues, columns, submissions, and other submissions equally, and only decide whether to accept them based on academic indicators, without being affected by other factors.
5. Provide the author with comprehensive, detailed, and clear revision suggestions for the accepted manuscript. Respond promptly to the author's objections and communicate effectively until a consensus is reached.
6. Use the CNKI academic misconduct detection system to identify and terminate academic misconduct such as multiple submissions.
7. For problematic published papers, evidence will be investigated. Depending on the severity of errors or academic misconduct, make corrections or withdraw the manuscript, and publish a statement on the website.
8. Keep the content and data of the manuscript confidential before publication.
9. Timely upload the electronic and final versions of the published papers to the relevant databases and multimedia included in this journal.
10. Treat authors, reviewers, and editorial board members fairly, impartially, and objectively, and maintain friendly contacts with all relevant parties of the journal.
11. Promptyly respond to questions from readers, authors, or anyone else, and record typical questions for future reference.
12. Protect the personal information of authors and reviewers, update them in a timely manner, and continuously invite new reviewers to participate in peer review.
13. Continuously attract authors to submit and invite high-quality reviews and original articles; Maintain the activity of the editorial board and hold regular editorial board meetings.
14. After the publication of the paper, the editorial department will present the author with a sample issue.
Responsibilities of reviewers:
1. Accept the review commission from the editorial department and provide objective, fair, detailed, and clear review comments in a timely manner to assist the editorial board in finalizing the manuscript.
2. Remind editors of potential conflicts of interest (financial, institutional, or other causes of confusion and conflict).
3. Remind the editor that there is excessive similarity between the reviewed manuscript and the published paper or submitted manuscript.
4. Provide clear and reasonable suggestions on whether to hire or not, and provide specific modification suggestions for the author.
5. It is strictly prohibited to disclose manuscript information. Before publication, it is prohibited for reviewers to use the content and data in the reviewed manuscript.
6. Anonymous review, all information of the reviewer is hidden from the author.
Responsibilities of the editorial board:
1. Adhere to the correct political direction and public opinion orientation, and approve important tasks such as the purpose, editorial policies, and publishing plans of this magazine.
2. Based on the overall situation of the manuscript and the opinions of the reviewers, provide clear and reasonable handling suggestions, and make every effort to ensure the accuracy and academic quality of the published papers in this journal.
3. Actively contribute and recommend articles to this journal, and recommend professional and competent reviewers for the manuscript.
Responsibilities of the organizer:
1. Fully fulfill the responsibility of ideological supervision of journals, supervise journals to adhere to the correct political direction and public opinion orientation, prioritize social benefits, follow academic publishing ethical standards, publish papers in a timely, accurate, fair and just manner, and provide an excellent platform for academic exchanges.
2. Supervise the formulation and implementation of the management system for journal publication, appoint the main person in charge of the journal, conduct regular political theory learning and professional training for the journal leader and all editors, and improve the professional quality of editors.
3. The organizer shall not interfere with the decision on manuscript processing.
